Refund Policy

By using the TextWik Mobile Services you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Refund Policy”).

Purchasing

The cost of a message is dependent upon the quantity of messages purchased (see pricing on customer admin or pricing-section ). We refer to purchased messages as message credits. For pricing, one message is deemed to be one text message sent to one destination number. One such message costs one message credit to send. The cost of a message credit is given in the pricing pages, and depends on the quantity of messages you purchase. Should a customer send the same text message to two people simultaneously, then they will be charged two message credits for the transaction.

Limitation of Liability

TextWik is liable for ensuring that the text message is processed and delivered to your mobile telephone operator. It is not responsible for the final delivery of the message by your operator to your mobile phone, as this is out of our control. TextWik will provide a full refund for any message not successfully transmitted to a recipient mobile phone where the reason for non-delivery is determined to be in the control of TextWik. TextWik defines a successful transmission as a message that has been accepted into the SMS network. Given the platform and forward nature of our service, there can be a time delay between message transmission and receipt.

While at any time, after sending the message. Our customers can review the status of messages sent, we limit our refunds to those messages that we fail to deliver to the SMS network. We regard a message as successfully sent once it is handed over to the recipient SMSC for delivery. It is a condition of service that TextWik offers service to the customer only on acceptance by the customer that TextWik is not liable for the value of the content of any message sent by the customer, or for and subsequent and consequential loss incurred by the customer in the event of failure of delivery by TextWik or its suppliers of the message.

No Cost, No Obligation Trial

We invite all registrants to trial our service for FREE with no cost and no obligation. For every registration, we allocate 100 messages at no charge to enable you to test the service.

Payment Method

TextWik accepts a valid credit card for paying accounts, unless otherwise specified. Our system accepts any major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, P-Card, American Express, Diners Card). Further to this TextWik reserves the right to refuse or limit the credit extended to customers and may require payment before receipt of message credits from all customers who do not fulfill our credit requirements.

Software/Service Use - Refunds, Upgrading and Downgrading Terms:

  1. The account entitles new, registered users/entities to a FREE trial usage of the Service. It is provided at NO cost to the user/entity. While using the free account, TextWik may or may not restrict the features available to the user. TextWik reserves the right to change the terms, cost and duration of the Free or any other Plans at any time. If the user desires additional services beyond the scope and limitations of the free account, then the user must subscribe to the Service as a paying customer.
  2. SMS Packs Refund- The SMS Packs you order from this website, can be applied for a refund only within 3 days of making the purchase We will refund the amount after deducting the charge for any SMS sent from this pack; plus, Payment Gateway charges. Standard charge will be deducted for the SMS’s sent as per our Price Sheet.
  3. The service is billed in advance on a monthly basis and there will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. TextWik reserves the right to terminate or suspend an account for non-payment of dues.
  4. If you chose to upgrade your account, you can do so at any time by logging into your Customer ID and password and selecting the plan that you’d like to upgrade to. The remainder of the billing cycle you were previously in will end upon your upgrade. No refunds will be provided for upgraded accounts nor will any partial refunds or credits be applied.
  5. All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you shall be responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties.
  6. TextWik does not accept any liability of loss of content by downgrading your Service
  7. TextWik reserves the right to change Service fees upon 30 days’ notice. Such notice may be provided at any time by informing clients and posting the changes to the TextWik Site (TextWik.com) or the Service itself.

Cancellation and Termination

As our client, you are solely responsible for properly canceling your account in order to terminate recurring charges to your credit card. If you require assistance in cancelling your account, please email billing@textwik.com .

  1. Cancel at Any time: monthly subscriptions must be cancelled at any time PRIOR to the next month’s subscription renewal date.
  2. There is NO cancellation fee.
  3. All your Content will be immediately deleted from the service upon cancellation. Once your account is canceled, your Content cannot be recovered.
  4. There will be no refund if you cancel the Service before the end of your current, paid-up month or year, and you will not be charged or billed thereafter.
  5. TextWik may at any time and for any reason terminate the Services, terminate this Agreement, or suspend or terminate your account. In the event of termination, your account will be disabled and you may not be granted access to your account or any files or other content contained in your account.
  6. TextWik reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
  7. Accounts that are idle (not logged in) for more than 3 months (90 days) will be removed permanently from our servers.

Message Credit Lifespan

TextWik reserves the right to expire your credit balance and automatically close your account if your account has been dormant for 12 months, with no refund due or payable to the customer.

Our Guarantees

TextWik does not offer a guarantee beyond its refund policy. A receipt for the purchase of message credits is available at the time of purchase. This is supplied in the form of an email. Furthermore, customers can access their account details, and view a report detailing payments they have made to TextWik. TextWik aim to resolve bills and settlement queries within 24-48 hours of receipt of the request at support.

How We Handle Complaints

TextWik aims to provide a complaint handling service that is:

  • Fair and Confidential
  • Effective, easy to use and well-publicized
  • Speedy - you should have time limits for acting and telling customers what you are doing
  • Informative - so that you know which features you can utilize and plans to go with.
  • Checked Service - to make sure that our software is working well and getting better

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

TextWik reserves the right, following a 7-day email notice to the customer, to amend the terms and conditions for use of the TextWik Software. TextWik reserves the right to terminate a customer account in the following circumstances:

  • If the customer is breaching the usage policy guidelines
  • If the customer is breaching the usage policy guidelines
  • If a customer fails to pay for message credits, e.g. a credit card payment is rejected
  • If a customer’s message content is deemed to have caused unreasonable offense to a message recipient
  • If required by law

Account Suspension

In any circumstance, TextWik will communicate by email its intention to close an account, and will place the account in suspension. The customer may appeal the decision, but TextWik' decision will be final.

How to Apply for Refund?

Once the payment is made and begin using our software. To apply for refund, please send us an email on billing@textwik.com with the title / Subject Refund. Please mention the Invoice number and the Package you want a refund for.
